Old Mutual International boosts support for domestic adviser market in Hong Kong

Old Mutual International, part of Old Mutual Wealth, boosts support for the domestic adviser channel in Hong Kong with a new senior appointment. Ivy Lee joins as Head of Business Development for the Hong Kong domestic market with responsibility for building and growing Old Mutual International’s reach in the domestic adviser market.

Hong Kong is a strategic focus for Old Mutual International as the wealth management sector continues to grow in size and significance. The needs and expectations of the high net worths and affluents are evolving with greater demand for holistic wealth management. Old Mutual International provides solutions to meet the varying wealth management needs of these customer segments and Ivy will help Old Mutual International explore and capture new business opportunities, leveraging the benefits of its award winning solutions.

A growing number of advisers are recognising the effect that regulatory change and evolving client expectations is having on the advice market. Old Mutual International supports independent advice and is committed to helping advisers transition their business and evolve their value and customer service propositions.

Ivy joins from Friends Provident International where she was Regional Sales Manager. 

She has nearly 20 years industry experience in the domestic market, and previous employers include Sun Life, Prudential and HSBC. Ivy works alongside Fred Wong who is Head of Distribution Development for the Hong Kong domestic market and reports in to Mark Christal.
