Old Mutual Wealth increases adviser support with two specialist sales hires

With the biggest reform in UK pensions for a generation on the horizon, Old Mutual Wealth has enhanced its support for advisers with the appointment of two more pension specialists to its Specialist Sales Team, Roddy Munro and Tim Mason. The new appointments increase Old Mutual Wealth’s specialist sales team to 19, with four dedicated to pensions.

Roddy and Tim will cover the North region, with the aim to support advisers through the upcoming pension changes and beyond, through workshops, forums and one-to-one sessions focussing on practical advice ideas for use with clients.

Tim Mason is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, Associate of the Pension Management Institute and Certified Financial Planner. He has more than 14 years’ experience in the financial service market, including a previous role at Skandia. He joins from Just Retirement, where he spent 3 years as Key Account Director.

Roddy Munro is a Chartered Financial Planner and Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He joins after 24 years at Scottish Widows, where he supported the London and Scotland & NI sales teams and his role included development of the Retirement Account proposition and Scottish Widows’ response to RDR both in individual and corporate pensions.
